1. What personal data is collected and why?

Studio Email Address

Used exclusively for account access, security authentication, password resets, and critical studio notifications. We never sell, rent, or trade your email to any third party.

Unique AdsCore Broadcaster Token

A pseudo-anonymous token generated at signup. It allows game clients running IndieAds to report broadcasts and earn credits (+5 credits per completion) without disclosing personal developer identities.

Public Campaign Metadata

Public store URLs (Steam, Itch.io, Game Jolt), game titles, and public promotional screenshots submitted to showcase your games to network players.

Anti-Fraud Telemetry & Technical Security

Interaction timestamps and minimal technical fingerprints (one-way hashed IP address) strictly used to prevent DDoS attacks, replay exploits, and click-farm bot abuse.

2. Cookies & Tracking Technology

STRICTLY LIMITED TO ESSENTIAL FIRST-PARTY COOKIES

IndieAds Network adheres strictly to the EU ePrivacy Directive and GDPR standards:

Authentication Session Cookies (sb-*-auth-token): Strictly necessary to maintain your logged-in session securely as you navigate your studio HUD. Encrypted with SameSite=Lax and Secure flags.
ZERO Third-Party Ad Cookies: Unlike traditional ad networks (Google Ads, Meta Pixel), IndieAds uses ZERO cross-site tracking pixels, ZERO behavioral profiling, and ZERO invasive third-party trackers.
No Consent Banner Mandate: Because only essential cookies strictly necessary to provide the service requested by the user are used, no annoying popups or banners are legally mandated.

3. Exercising Your Fundamental Rights

As a user of our platform, you are endowed with the following rights, exercisable directly from your studio account:

Right of Access (Art. 15)

Inspect all personal records stored on your studio at any time.

Right to Rectification (Art. 16)

Update your credentials, passwords, and campaign parameters anytime.

Right to Erasure (Art. 17)

Permanently purge your account and all associated records with 1 click.

Portability (Art. 20)

Export all your studio and campaign data in standard JSON format.

Restriction (Art. 18)

Freeze or pause the active distribution of your ad campaigns.

Right to Lodge a Complaint

Option to contact your relevant Data Protection Authority (CNIL or EU DPAs).

4. Data Retention Periods

• Active Account: Your studio profile, credits, and campaigns are stored as long as your account remains active.

• Account Deletion: Purged immediately and irrevocably upon deletion request through database cascade triggers.

• Technical Telemetry: Anonymized and aggregated for macro performance telemetry without individual references.
